Established 2004
McVan Development, LLC was founded on January 7th 2004 by Managing Partners John C.
Van Kooten and Sean P. McGuire.
We specialize in urban development and revitalization in Chicago neighborhoods that are conveniently located near the downtown area. We are working to create many new and affordable housing opportunities in strategic locations within communities that are experiencing strong and sustainable economic growth.
Our expertise is in new construction and rehabilitation of mixed-use and multi unit residential buildings. We also offer complete general contractor services (G.C. Services) and multi-unit investment opportunities. We manage our own housing stock and these various housing units are available in a multitude of ways such as Sales, Rentals and Lease/Option purchases.
These well situated locations offer a multitude of exciting employment options and easy access to transportation, schools, dining, entertainment, culture centers, shopping centers and other community related services.
We pride ourselves in offering only clean, modern and quality housing units. We strive to make all of our buildings meet the comforts and demands of today’s modern lifestyles.
Our office is conveniently located at 2126 West Van Buren Street in Chicago, 1 ½ blocks west of Damen Avenue along the north side of the I290 expressway.
